The winter has been a busy time for Morgan Lambert. From the official start of winter on 21st December to the present, Morgan Lambert CO investigation Auditors attended 173 cases of suspected escapes of fumes/CO alarm activations.
From these we inspected 277 appliances, 68 of which were disconnected due to giving off high levels of CO, 99 were found to have acceptable levels of CO emission and 110 where no CO readings were recorded. Also, a total of 17 CO alarms were found to be faulty and subsequently replaced.
With regards to the 68 appliances disconnected for high levels of CO, 35 were central heating boilers, 32 cooking appliances and 1 gas fire.
